My background in fitness and nutrition was an up and downhill battle. I would go from one thing to the next chasing the “next best thing” that would get me to my goals. What I didn’t know, I was wrecking my gut and hormones. Once I got on a plan designed just for me, it all started to fall into place. I’m a huge proclaimer of establishing habits that last a lifetime and to this day, I’m all about adding new habits in my life. When I’m not lifting heavy weights, walking or meal prepping, you’ll likely find me with a book and cup of hot tea. But more often than not, I’m spending time with my hubby of 18 years (2025) and my kids ages 15 & 13. I’ve navigated this health and fitness journey as a stay-at-home mom, full-time working mom, and recently as a part-time remote working mom. I’ve been through it all and know what a busy schedule with work, kids and other responsibilities looks like. This is where building a foundation of habits was essential for me because whenever life throws a challenge or change, my habits were there to keep me consistent.
